The story so far

A one-liner
merchant with a
storyteller's heart.

Barely a year into stand-up, and already one of the most talked-about new voices on the UK circuit.

Eoin Oh on stage

Eoin Oh is one of the most exciting new voices on the UK comedy circuit — a one-liner merchant with a natural gift for storytelling, and barely a year into his stand-up career.

His debut made an immediate impression: five minutes of sharp one-liners at the iconic Backyard Comedy Club in front of a 300-strong audience. It was the kind of opening set that gets people talking, and people talked. Since then, Eoin has featured at multiple stand-up nights across London and Essex, steadily building a reputation for material that is both meticulously crafted and genuinely funny.

His Edinburgh Festival showcase drew praise from professional comedians who were quick to take notice. Tom Short offered a particular kind of compliment — high praise from someone who has heard a few.

Along the way he has shared the comedy stage with established names including Dane Baptiste, Richard Blackwood, Patrick Monahan, Tom Short, Preet Singh, Terry Gargin of Dirty Dog Comedy Club, and Ben Summers of Ginger Giggle Club — remarkable company for someone still in their first year on the circuit.

The standout milestone came when Eoin was selected to open for US comedian Chris D'Elia — a comedian with 2.3 million Instagram followers and a global touring fanbase — on his world tour stops in London and Dublin. For a comic in his first year, it's an extraordinary credit.

Alongside performing, Eoin hosts comedy nights for London Comedy Ltd across East London and Essex, bringing the same sharp instinct he applies to his own material to the job of holding a room together for an entire evening.

Eoin Oh brings something increasingly rare to the circuit: tight writing, a sharp instinct for the room, and material that consistently punches above its vintage. Whatever he does next, it'll be worth watching.

“I love your storytelling — in fact, I prefer it to your one-liners.”
